The '99 Season


The '99 Season started out with FSU ranked number 1 in the country. They first played Louisiana Tech on August 28th. FSU had a opening game victory on LT with a 41 to 7 win.

Next up for the Seminoles was Georgia Tech on September 11th. FSU again won, a close one, with a 41 to 35 score.

The following week, September 18th, was North Carolina St. vs the Noles and the score was 42 to 11 , Seminoles win.

On September 25th the Seminoles went to North Carolina and played The Tar Heals and beat them 42 to 10.

October 2nd was another game in which the Noles were on the road against Duke. They pulled off the win with a 51- 23 victory.

Next up was Miami vs Florida State. It was a close game but FSU won with a 31 to 21 victory on October 9th.

It was then Wake Forest's turn to play the mighty Noles on October 16th and FSU won 33 to 10.

Then on October 23rd the Bowden Bowl, father vs son, Son was with Clemson and Father brought The Noles. It was a tight game and victory went to FSU.

Next up on October 30th was FSU at Virgina. It was a good game with FSU winning 35 to 10.

On Novemeber 13th Maryland came into FSU's house and was beaten 49 to 10.

Now on Novermber 20th came the game of the season with The Florida State Seminoles vs The Florida Gators. The game was as usual a close and good game, but when the time ran out FSU had won, 30 - 23, and completed a undefeated season with a 11 and 0 record. Up next is the Sugar Bowl for the National Championship. They will be playing Virgina Tech, which will be a good game.

On January 5th the Mighty Noles and the Hokies (Virgina Tech) went to play for the National Title down at the "Big Easy"(New Orleans). The game was close some of the time and some of the time FSU was Running All Over Them. But when the gun sounded there was only one team left standing with a undefeated season and a National Title and that team was FSU with the score of 46 to 29.
